For Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Compliance

Research use status is a set of controls, not a sentence in a footer

Under U.S. law, what a product is for is not decided by its disclaimer. It is inferred from the seller’s objective conduct: labeling, site copy, imagery, advertising, metadata, and the public statements of the people who run the company. A vendor who prints “research use only” while describing what a compound does in a person has not protected themselves. They have documented that they knew.

Alchemy is therefore built so that the restriction holds structurally. The controls below are properties of the system, not policies we ask staff to remember.

Structural controls

  1. 01

No administration guidance anywhere on the property

Product pages carry analytical specifications only: sequence, molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number, purity, and storage. There is no reconstitution guidance, no quantity per subject language, and no usage instruction of any kind. This is enforced at build time, not by policy memo.

  2. 02

    No human or physique imagery

The site uses no photography of people, bodies, before/after comparisons, or clinical settings. Imagery is limited to laboratory materials and analytical data.

  3. 03

No testimonials, reviews, or user experience content

Customer narratives about personal use are among the most damaging categories of evidence in FDA enforcement. No review system is implemented, and none should be added.

  4. 04

Verified attestation at point of sale

Six individually affirmed conditions are recorded with each order, including age, researcher qualification, in vitro only use, and non administration. Records are retained for seven years.

  5. 05

Lot certificates published, or their absence disclosed

Where a lot has been assayed by an independent laboratory, the HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity data is published against its lot number and retrievable without an account. Where a lot has not been assayed, the product page states that before an order can be placed. The control is the disclosure, not a promise that every lot is tested, because a promise the catalog cannot currently keep is worse than no promise at all.

  6. 06

Principals bound by the same restrictions

FDA reads the public statements of a company’s owners and staff as evidence of intended use. Personal social media, podcasts, and forum posts by anyone affiliated with the company are in scope and governed by the internal communications policy.

Enforced at build time

Our deployment pipeline runs an automated claims linter across every source file. If prohibited language appears anywhere, whether administration guidance, outcome claims, body composition vocabulary, or clinical framing, the build fails and nothing ships. Compliance drift is caught by the same mechanism that catches a syntax error.

The rules live in a single reviewed file so that counsel can audit the whole property by reading one page.

What we decline

  • GLP-1 and incretin receptor agonists, as an entire class. We do not stock them and will not source them. They are the compounds most in demand from people who are not researchers, which is precisely the buyer our Research Use Policy exists to turn away. The exclusion is enforced in our build, not left to memory.
  • Orders from purchasers who tell us the material is for personal use. We cancel and refund them.
  • Requests for guidance on use in humans or animals, in any amount, by any route.
  • Affiliate, influencer, and outcome based marketing arrangements.
  • Bulk orders we cannot reconcile with a legitimate research purpose.
  • Shipment to any destination outside the United States.

Statement of intended use

All products supplied by Alchemy are furnished strictly as laboratory reagents for in vitro research conducted by qualified professionals. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use, and not for any clinical application. No product offered here has been approved by the FDA for any use in humans or animals.

Raising a concern
