Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 26, 2026
This policy governs conduct: how materials supplied by us may be handled, described, and discussed. It binds purchasers, resellers, and anyone acting on our behalf.
1. Handling and storage
- Handle all materials as laboratory chemicals of unknown hazard, using appropriate personal protective equipment and engineering controls.
- Store sealed vials as directed on the product specification.
- Keep materials secured and inaccessible to anyone who has not accepted this policy, and to minors and household members without exception.
- Dispose of unused material and packaging in accordance with your institution’s chemical waste procedures and applicable law. Do not dispose of material in domestic waste or wastewater.
2. Labelling
Do not remove, alter, or obscure any label, lot number, or hazard marking. If you transfer material to a secondary container for laboratory work, label it with the compound name, lot number, date, and the restriction “Research use only. Not for human or veterinary use”.
3. Transfer and resale
Do not resell or transfer material to any person who has not accepted terms at least as restrictive as our Research Use Policy. Do not transfer to anyone you know or reasonably suspect intends use in a human or animal.
Approved resellers must reproduce our research use restriction in full, must not make any claim of human suitability, and must not repackage material into any form that suggests it is intended for administration.
4. How you may describe these materials
If you write about, list, advertise, or otherwise publicly describe material supplied by us, you must not:
- state or imply that it is suitable for human or veterinary use, or that it may be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition;
- publish administration guidance of any kind, including amounts, routes, schedules, preparation for administration, or combinations;
- publish or solicit personal experience content, testimonials, or before and after material;
- state or imply that the material, or Alchemy, is approved, endorsed, or cleared by the FDA or any regulatory authority;
- use our name, marks, or Certificates of Analysis in any communication that does any of the above.
5. Personnel and affiliates
Anyone employed by, contracted to, or otherwise representing Alchemy is bound by section 4 in their personal capacity as well as their professional one. This expressly includes personal social media accounts, podcasts, forums, group chats, and private messages.
This is not optional internal etiquette. The public statements of a company’s principals and staff are treated as evidence of what the company intends its products to be used for, and a single post can undo the compliance posture of the entire business.
Alchemy does not operate an affiliate, referral, influencer, or commission based marketing program, and will not enter one.
6. Site conduct
Do not attempt to circumvent the research use gate or the checkout attestation, to scrape or bulk download the catalog or certificate records, to probe or test the security of this site, or to submit an order using false identity, affiliation, or payment details.
7. Enforcement
Breach of this policy may result in cancellation of pending orders, closure of your account, refusal of future orders, and, where the breach involves human or veterinary use or a false attestation, referral to the relevant authorities.
