Accessibility Statement
Version 1.0 · Effective July 26, 2026
Alchemy Archive LLC aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site. This statement records what we have done and how to tell us where we have fallen short.
1. Conformance target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We describe this site as partially conformant: most of it meets the standard, and we have not yet completed an independent audit of every page.
2. Measures in place
- Semantic HTML throughout, with a single main landmark, labelled navigation, and a logical heading order on every page.
- A skip to content link as the first focusable element.
- Full keyboard operability, including the research use confirmation and the checkout attestation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Text and interface colours checked against the WCAG 2.2 contrast minimum of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
- Analytical data presented as real tables with scoped column headers, so screen readers announce values in context.
- Every form control has a persistent, programmatically associated label.
- The research use confirmation is a labelled modal dialog. Focus moves into it when it opens and is trapped within it while it is open, so it cannot be tabbed past.
- Layout uses relative units and reflows to a single column without loss of content at 320 CSS pixels and at 400% zoom.
3. Known limitations
- Certificates of Analysis are supplied as PDFs originating from our analytical laboratory. Some are scanned and are not fully tagged for screen reader use. If you need the data from any certificate in an accessible format, ask us and we will send it as structured text the same business day.
- We have not completed an audit with assistive technology users.
4. Reporting a barrier
If any part of this site prevents you from finding a specification, retrieving a certificate, or placing an order, write to alchemyarchivellc@gmail.com with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to describe a fix or a workaround within ten.
If you cannot use the site at all, we will take your order and supply any documentation you need by email or telephone.
5. Assessment approach
This statement reflects internal evaluation against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using keyboard testing, automated tooling, and manual review. We will commission an independent audit and update this statement with its findings.
