Research Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 26, 2026
This is the controlling document governing who may purchase from Alchemy and what may be done with the materials we supply. It takes precedence over any other statement made anywhere on this site or by any person representing us.
1. Nature of the materials
All products supplied by Alchemy Archive LLC are synthetic chemical compounds furnished as laboratory reagents for in vitro research conducted by qualified professionals.
They are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices. They are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use in humans or animals. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, and they are not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures of any kind.
Nothing on this site is, or should be read as, medical advice. No statement we make is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
2. Who may purchase
You may purchase from us only if all of the following are true.
- You are at least 21 years of age.
- You are a qualified researcher, or you are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, university, hospital, laboratory, or commercial entity engaged in scientific research.
- You have the training, facilities, and equipment to handle laboratory reagents safely, including appropriate personal protective equipment and a means of lawful disposal.
- You are able to identify the institution or company on whose behalf the purchase is made.
We do not sell to individuals purchasing for personal use. There is no exception to this, and we will not make one on request.
3. Prohibited uses
You must not, under any circumstances:
- administer any material supplied by us to yourself, to any other human being, or to any animal, by any route and in any amount;
- use any material in, or in preparation for, any clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedure;
- compound, formulate, repackage, or relabel any material into a product intended for human or animal use;
- resell, distribute, gift, or otherwise transfer any material to a person you know or reasonably suspect intends any of the above;
- represent, in any advertisement, listing, or communication, that materials originating from us are suitable for human or veterinary use.
4. Information we will not provide
Alchemy personnel are prohibited from advising any purchaser on use in humans or animals. This includes amounts, administration routes, preparation for administration, timing, combinations, expected effects, and comparisons to medicines. We will decline such questions regardless of how they are framed, including hypothetically, in the third person, or as a claim of professional status.
We are glad to discuss analytical specifications, solubility in laboratory solvents, stability, storage, handling and safety, and documentation.
5. Verification and refusal
We may, at our sole discretion and at any time, request verification of your research affiliation, institutional email address, or intended research application before accepting or fulfilling an order.
We may refuse or cancel any order, in whole or in part, for any reason, including where the order is inconsistent with a legitimate research purpose. Where we cancel an accepted order under this section, we refund it in full. Refusal is not a judgment about you; it is the operation of this policy.
Statements you make to us in any channel, including email, chat, telephone, and social media, form part of the record we rely on. A purchaser who tells us the material is intended for a person will have their order cancelled and their account closed.
6. Your responsibility for compliance
Laws governing the possession, importation, and use of research chemicals vary by country, state, and municipality, and institutional policies may impose further restrictions. You are solely responsible for determining and complying with every law, regulation, and institutional requirement applicable to you.
Some compounds we supply are prohibited substances in competitive sport under the World Anti-Doping Code and the rules of national and collegiate athletic bodies. If you are subject to any such rules, that is your responsibility to manage.
7. Attestation recorded at purchase
Every order requires you to individually affirm six conditions of sale. Your affirmations are recorded with the order, together with the date and time, your IP address and browser user agent, and the version of the Terms of Sale then in force. We retain that record for seven years.
Making a false attestation is a breach of the Terms of Sale and voids every remedy otherwise available to you, including the right to a refund.
8. Reporting
If you become aware of anyone using materials supplied by us contrary to this policy, or of any person representing Alchemy acting inconsistently with it, report it to alchemyarchivellc@gmail.com.
9. Changes
We may amend this policy. The version in force at the time of your order governs that order. Material changes are reflected in the version number above.
